The paper co-authored by vice-president of ANAS director of the Institute of Information Technology, academician Rasim Alguliyev, head department corresponding member of ANAS Ramiz Aliguliyev and leading scientific worker, Ph.D. Assoc. Prof. Fargana Abdullayeva, has been published in the “International Journal of Oil, Gas and Coal Technology”.

The paper has been written on the fulfillments carried out under a grant project "Exploring Big Data Analysis Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry" funded by the State Oil Company Science Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The paper conducts reducing the risks of using Big Data technologies, forecasting crude oil prices, optimizing oil wells, ensuring health and safety in the organization, eliminating environmental problems and so on. In addition, the paper informs about Google glasses, smart watches, biometric smartwear, camera clip, Kinect, Google and many other wearable sensors, also, classification of Big Data analytics techniques.

Note that, “International Journal of Oil, Gas and Coal Technolog” is indexed in the “Science Citation Index Expanded” (Clarivate Analytics), “Scopus” (Elsevier), “Compendex” (Elsevier), “Academic OneFile” (Gale) and referenced in international scientific bases.
