Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Rector of Tashkent State University of the Uzbek language and literature anmed after Alisher Navoi, professor Shukhrat Sirojiddinov was elected an honorary doctor of the Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS.

During the international scientific conference on "Study of the literary and scientific heritage of Alisher Navoi", dedicated to the 579th anniversary of the great Uzbek poet Alisher Navoi, the first vice-president of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Isa Habibbayli awarded an honorary diploma to the Uzbek scientist.

Professor Shukhrat Sirozhiddinov, thanking the leadership of the Institute of Literature for the award, said that his election as an honorary doctor is a symbolic expression of the high appreciation of Uzbek scientists as a whole.
