Institute of Caucasus Studies of ANAS carried out an event devoted to 28th anniversary of Khojaly massacre.

In advance, victims of Khojaly massacre, who cherished for sake of motherland, were remembered with a minute of silence.

Speaking at the event, director of the scientific institution, corresponding member of ANAS Musa Gasimli spoke about the Khojaly truths, the role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the legal-political assessment of the tragedy, and the recognition of it in the whole world by President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and First Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, highlighted their invaluable merits as well.

Then, deputy director of the institute for science, PhD in History Assoc. Prof. Ramila Dadashova, chief of Armenian Studies Department, Doctor of Historical sciences Gasim Hajiyev and others made speech on detailes of the tragedy, its condition and results in the course of military aggression of Armenia to Azerbaijan.
