Surkhay Akbarov, Professor of Yildiz Technical University of Turkey, corresponding member of ANAS, has delivered a lecture on theoretical definition of forced oscillation frequencies of the Earth by setting up their mathematical model at the seminar held in Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS.

The seminar was attended by the first vice-president of ANAS academician Ibrahim Guliyev, faculty members of several universities of the republic, representatives of research institutes of ANAS.

The event, chaired by the director of the institute academician Akif Alizadeh, has been dedicated to the scientific results achieved within the framework of ANAS project “Complex theoretical and experimental research on interdisciplinary problems of geomechanics”.

The lecture aroused interest on attendees of the seminar and many questions were responded.
