Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS has held an event dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

In advance, the victims of this bloody tragedy were honored with a minute of silence.

Speaking at the event, director of the SRSC, PhD in Physics, Associate Professor Yusif Shukurlu spoke about the importance of bringing to the attention of the world community the essence of the Khojaly tragedy committed by Armenians with particular cruelty.

Prof. Firadun Ibrahimov, chief scientific researcher of the center, head of the landscape science department, PhD in geological and mineralogical sciences Huseyn Mustafabeyli, head of the Silkworm Breeding Department, PhD in Biology Gudurat Bekirov and others told that the Khojaly genocide was one of the most terrifying events in Azerbaijan people and stressed the importance of joining efforts to expose the perpetrators of this bloody crime worldwide.

In conclusion, a video was shown about the Khojaly tragedy.
