The next meeting of the Presidium of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS was held.

The chairman of the Division, academician Ismayil Hajiyev opened the meeting and informed about the order of the President of ANAS academician Ramiz Mehdiyev “On preventive measures in connection with the coronavirus in ANAS”, signed on March 11, 2020. He noted that the country's leadership has taken the necessary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Azerbaijan, and disinfection measures have been taken in the research institutions of the department.

Then a lecture was delivered by the head of the Biochemical Research Laboratory of the Institute of Bioresources, PhD in Biology, associate professor Ramiz Alakabrov on the topic “Coronavirus and methods of protection”.

After the lecture, academician Tariel Talibov and Doctor of Biological Sciences Ismayil Mammadov spoke.

In conclusion, a number of scientific, organizational and current issues were considered.
