Department for the Study of Personal Archives of the Institute of Manuscripts named after Muhammad Fuzuli of ANAS has held an online meeting.

The main issue on the agenda of the online meeting was the discussion of the activities of department employees during the first four months of 2020.

The meeting talked about published books and articles published in the media, as well as research materials that are currently being prepared for publication.

It was noted that on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev,  head department, Doctor of Philology Naila Samadova, has transfonerated part of the still unpublished works of the classic, stored in his personal archive at the Institute of Manuscripts. In addition, N.Samadova prepared for publication articles by Mammad Said Ordubadi on Nizami Ganjavi, which are stored in his personal archive at the Institute of Manuscripts.

Leading researcher of the department, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Afag Aliyeva has prepared for publication the book “Description of the archive of Firudin bey Kocharli”, a senior researcher, PhD in Philology Konul Bagirova - the book titled as “Unopened pages of the archive of Azer Buzovnali - I (articles and letters ) ”, junior researcher Nurana Salmanova - the book titled as “History of the Armenian Movement”.

The meeting discussed scientific papers and articles that researchers are working on.
