November 4, 2014 Institute of Information Technology of ANAS hosted the regular meeting of the Department of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences.

The meeting, which was attended by members of the Bureau, director institutes, was opened by the Vice-President of ANAS, academician-secretary of ANAS, academician Akif Hajiyev.

In the event corresponding member of ANAS Dzheylani Panahov spoke on “Innovative technologies for intensification of oil production.” Dzh. Panahov has informed that in recent years in the department, “Fluid Mechanics” of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS, a number of important researches have been done in the creation of innovative technologies for the elimination of the pressing problems in the oil industry. It was noted that in this direction were made 6 of grant projects and obtained more than 60 patents.

The report identified the difficulties encountered in many processes in the oil industry, and proved solutions.

In conclusion, stressed the importance of these studies for the economy of our country.

Then there was an exchange of views on the report. Academicians Adil Garibov, members of ANAS Nizami Suleymanov, Vali Huseynov, Nazim Mammadov and others reported with questions.

The event also discussed the following issues: the awarding of academician Arif Mehdiyev Honorary Diploma of ANAS in connection with the 80th anniversary, the appointment of academic Javad Abdinov Deputy Director for Research of the Institute of Physics, PhD in Physics Ilgar Nasibov Deputy Director for General Affairs of the same institute, Dr. physics Ayaz Bayramov Deputy Director for Innovation and Transfer of the same institute.

At the event some active members and corresponding member of ANAS were awarded badges depicting Nizami Ganjavi.

In conclusion, considered a number of staff problems.
