On May 18, the regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Additive Chemistry of ANAS was held.
At the meeting, director of the institute, academician Vagif Farzaliyev said that during the special quarantine regime introduced in the republic in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, the institution led by him and the institute's employees carried out successful online activities. He noted that the Quarantine regime was partially relaxed by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, and for this reason employees should be involved in laboratory tests: “Since the limitation in the number of employees remains in force, employees should not be involved in the work in the first place. suffering from severe chronic diseases. At the same time, in order not to exceed 30% of the total number of employees, work in laboratories and departments should be organized on the principle of duty. Semi-annual reports should be prepared, employees should analyze the results of their research, summarize them, write abstracts, articles and patents, as well as prepare for current reports.”
V. Farzaliyev emphasized that in accordance with the existing rules, the institute’s office rooms should be disinfected daily, employees who have come to work should keep a distance, use protective masks, alcohol, antiseptic gel, etc., and gave relevant instructions in this regard management of the technical department.
