Special department II, Presidium of ANAS held methodological seminar in accordance with a plan of actions for Civil Defense (CD).

Opening the event department chief Eldar Guliyev spoke about the achievements and the work carried out in the field of CD in the scientific institutions within 2014, and also reported on the current shortcomings and tasks. He noted deficiencies identified during training, and highlighted the importance of the necessary measures to prevent them. E. Guliyev praised workout of CD had made by management of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS.

Then Alimardan Muhammadov, leading specialist of Special Department II provided information about the study of methodology planning for CD in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS in 2015. He presented a plan, structure, planned activities for the next year. He noted that the time of the exercise was coordinated by the regional divisions.

A. Muhammadov also gave information about the courses of CD, which is scheduled for next year, and presented a list of academic institutions that will participate in these courses.

In conclusion, the exchange of opinions, proposals have been made on the discussed issues.
