On November 13, 2014 at the main building of ANAS within the program of the European commission on researches and innovations “Horizon - 2020” devoted to the Eastern Partnership hosted of information day “Researches and innovations in the sphere of information and communication technologies”. Event was attended by members of the European Commission, ICT experts from the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, representatives of educational and research institutions and industrial enterprises. During a meeting were discussed the questions of expansion of cooperation between the countries of the European Union, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and also possibility of joint activity of these organizations in the field of ICT. Head of International Relations of Central Office of ANAS Presidium, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences Gulam Babaev reported that holding such meetings with representatives of the EU, along with strengthening scientific and business of communications is of great importance from the point of view of development of the international cooperation which will give an impetus to scientific technologically development and establishment of political dialogue in the field of researches ICT. At the event also made a speech the representatives of the European Commission Vasilis Kapanas, Morten Moller, Head of the International Department of Institute of Innovation and Management Systems of ANAS, PhD in engineering Tofig Babayev and others which told about value of the Horizon-2020 project and scientific works which will be carried out within the project.
