“Historical confusion: writer and literary critic” scientific, literary and artistic ceremony held dedicated to prominent critic of the great poet and playwright Huseyn Javid and academician Mammad Arif Dadashzade’s activity at Central Scientific Library.

The event was organized by “Turan Javid Women's Center” Public Union and CSL and

Sevda Jafarova, chairman of the Public Union, touched the main issues of the ceremony, reminded crossing moments in the life and personality of both outstanding figures.

Professor Tahira Mammadi made speech on " Socio-political structure attitude problem in creative and literary-theoretical activity”, Professor Gasimov on “Totalitarian environment and national intellectual thought”, Professor Asif Rustamli on “Mammad Arif Dadashzade’s activity in archival materials” at the conference.

 Then Honored Artist Ulviyya Hajibayova, honored artists Nargis Karimova, Eyyub Yagubov, Associate Professor at Baku Music Academy Maleyke Ahadzade, Famil Aliyev performed Azerbaijani music.

At the end, photo slides reflecting Huseyn Javid and academician Mammad Arif Dadashzade’s life and different aspects of the rich and varied activity demonstrated.
