“Caucasus Point” hotel hosted for republic wide workshop entitled “Modern methods of physical-chemical analyze – gas chromatography” on December 9.

Workshop was opened by academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Chemical Sciences director of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry acad. Dilgam Taghiyev.

Workshop by organization of “SEM-AZ”, official distributor of “Agilent technologies” to Azerbaijan, brought together scientist and specialists of institutes of France, Holland, as well as institutes including to the ANAS Department of Chemical Sciences, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic and Baku State University.

The main objective of the workshop is to provide an appropriation of the device and methods of work equipment by the users and to inform participants about the net hydrocarbon methods of analysis.

French delegate of “Agilent technologies” Co. Lou Cheng delivered a lecture on “Net Hydrocarbon Analysis Methods”, and Dutch specialist Pascal Vattaire on “Gas analyzers and micro GC systems” in the event.
