Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Institute of Botany of ANAS hosted an online event dedicated to the historic victory of Azerbaijan in the Karabakh war.

Opening speech the event, the director of the institute, academician Valida Alizade congratulated the whole team on the victory. V.Alizade noted that this victory is a logical consequence of the successful foreign policy pursued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Eldar Novruzov congratulated everyone on our victory. He noted that under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Azerbaijani army put an end to 30 years of longing in 44 days and forced Armenia to kneel and capitulate.

Corresponding member of ANAS  Kasumov Khalil noted that the victory in the Patriotic War proved to the whole world the political and military power of Azerbaijan.

Then Imran Babayev, Sayyara Ibadullayeva, Dilzara Agayeva, Naiba Mehdiyeva, Khuraman Khalilova, Rashad Salimov, Aida Ibrahimova, Kamala Asadova and Lamiya Abbasova spoke at the event.

Then a video entitled "Karabakh is Azerbaijan" was shown.
