An online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS was held.
The event was opened by the chairman of the council, director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Misir Mardanov, who congratulated the participants on the end of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the victory of our country.
The scientist said that these historical successes, as in the whole Azerbaijani society, set new tasks for ANAS, its institutes and relevant structures: "Preservation and revival of the historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of our people in the liberated territories, restoration of scientific infrastructure in this land, which has brought great personalities to Azerbaijani science, establishment of new research centers are among our fateful tasks. The staff of our institute will also make a worthy contribution to this historic mission and take their activities to a qualitatively new level in the context of the challenges of the new era."
He informed about the 9-point statement signed by Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, acknowledging the defeat of the aggressor Armenia and the unconditional liberation of the occupied territories.
In conclusion, Mardanov once again congratulated all our people, including the scientific community, including the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, on the great historical victory and wished the staff of the enterprise great success in their future activities.
