Important measures are intended to improve the social situation of scientists of ANAS.

On January 1, President of the National Academy of Sciences Akif Alizadeh shared his views at a press conference about activities of youth at the academy and their social status. Now Azerbaijani youth are developing in a completely different direction. Personnel training process has been accelerated in recent years at ANAS, young scientists and specialists have highly been trained, he stated. Academician also emphasized his belief for youth who are going to replace our older scientists in future. Also, important steps are taken in this direction, it should be noted that the procedure is quite complicated process. Preparing new staff of young scientists takes 10-20 years, he stated.

Academic Alizadeh said that, social problems of country's scientists have always been in the centre of attraction. Project of clinic for scientists is now preparing. If intended measures are finished on January- February months of the current year the project will be implemented as soon as possible, head of the academy notified.

Alizadeh said that the solutions of the problems are on the way. Thus, a new charter was signed by the President on the issue. This will enable academy operate in a new legal format.

In his speech scientist also gave information about the establishment of database of the National Academy of Sciences. Innovative proposals put forward by ANAS have also been accepted by experts of the business sector, he said.
