At Central Scientific Library of ANAS was held the first meeting of the Commission and working group on organization of the exhibition “The scientific achievements of ANAS”. Within the framework of the meeting was discussed the issues connected with the organization of the international exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of ANAS, which will be held in November of current year. The event was opened by the chairman of the Commission, Academician Hatam Guliyev. He informed about the issues on the agenda. He noted that, by the decision of Presidium of ANAS was created the Commission on organization of exhibition of ANAS scientific achievements. Academician told about attention of the government to science and about a number of the results of fundamental and applied character, received in scientific institutions and the organizations of ANAS science for various scientific directions in days of independence, stressed the importance of regularly informing foreign specialists and non-governmental sector on innovations with a view to their application in several areas of production. He noted that it is necessary to take measures for the purpose of promotion of scientific achievements of domestic scientists. Then head of the exhibition, Head of Department of Relations with International Organizations of International Relations Department of the Central Office of the Presidium of ANAS, PhD in history Nurida Guliyeva presented the members of the working group established in order to efficient organization of the exhibition. Noted that the working group are leading researcher at the Institute of Folklore of ANAS Nail Gurbanov (in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences), leading researcher at the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry Faig Mammadov (in the Department of Chemical Sciences), employer of Institute of Chemistry Huseyn Huseynov (for Office physical and mathematical sciences and engineering), researcher of Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry Nusrat Sirajov (in the Department of agricultural Sciences), researcher of Institute of architectural and art Parvana Aliyeva, senior researcher at the Institute of erosion and irrigation Izzet Talibov, leading researcher at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics Orhan Abbasov (in the Department of Earth Sciences) and member of the Central Office of Presidium Agasif Akhmedov. Among the participants were members on the organization of exhibition - director of library, PhD in Medical Sciences Leila Imanova, Deputy Director for Research of ANAS Institute of control systems, doctor of technical sciences Oktay Nusrat, Deputy Director for Research of ANAS Institute of Radiation Problems, PhD in physics Ravan Mehdiyev, Deputy Director for research of Institute of Petrochemical Processes, PhD Hikmet Ibragimov and others.
