Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The cooperation of the Central Scientific Library (CSL) of ANAS with the Library of ADA University continues. Within the framework of the cooperation, on the initiative of the director of the CSL, Professor Mammad Aliyev, the library staff met with the Director of the ADA University Library Elchin Mammadov.

The main purpose of the meeting was to provide exemplary service to readers during the pandemic, as well as in the organization of library work in the post-pandemic period and to further improve the quality of services provided in electronic form.

The event was attended by representatives of the National Digital Memory, Library Bibliographic Process Automation, Service and other departments of the CSL.

During the meeting, E.Mammadov shared with the participants the innovations in the organization of library work.

During the discussions, they also touched upon issues that form the basis of a modern library, such as modern library information services, their principles, improvement of information systems depending on the variety and nature of user queries, central information retrieval system, electronic catalog, technological innovations.
