Presidium of ANAS held meeting with delegation chaired by François Henn, vice-president of the University of Montpellier for International Relations.
Event was attended by ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Pascal Monye and chair of Azerbaijan National “Erasmus+” office Parviz Baghirov.
Making speech about the programs carried out in an academy, president of ANAS acad. Akif Alizadeh stressed out the essence of Erasmus program: “Benefiting of experience of the program can lead to innovations in the education system of the academy”. Scientist also touched upon issue of magistracy admission in 2015 in an academy for the first time.
Later on, François Henn informed about the key directions of the program. “Erasmus +” priority projects in Europe. Azerbaijan and France presidents highlighted the importance of these projects from viewpoint of cooperation, he stated.
“Tempus” and “Erasmus Mundus” programs of the European Union has been replaced by “Erasmus +” for 2014-2020. Under this program, would be possible to use joint master's degree programs in the field of higher education, credit mobility, Jean Monnet Programme, knowledge alliances and strategic partnerships.
According to him, “Erasmus +” program offers many opportunities for cooperation, exchange of experience in the field of education within the framework of the European standards, improving education systems, professional training, study abroad, and covers other important reforms, P.Baghirov noted.
In a meeting joint cooperation in science and main goals of “Erasmus+” were discussed.
