Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A new book by Azizaga Najafov, Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS named after Mahammad Fuzuli, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor “Xəvərnəq qəsri: tarix və bədii həqiqət” has been published.

The main scientific adviser of the book is academician Teymur Karimli, the scientific editor is the corresponding member of ANAS Nushaba Arasli, the reviewers are doctor of philological sciences Pasha Karimov and doctor of philological sciences, associate professor Firudin Gurbansoy.

In the new edition, the story of "Simnar and Neman" in the poem "Seven beauties" by the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi is analyzed against the background of historical sources.

The book also includes excerpts from Nizami Ganjavi's poem "Seven Beauties", the original Persian text, philological and poetic translations into Azerbaijani, as well as translations from Persian into English.
