Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Ahmed Sami Elaydy, chief of Egyptian Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Egypt Arab Republic to Azerbaijan, has visited to Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS.

In the meeting, director of the institute acad. Teymur Karimli informed the guest with the activity of institution led by him.

Historical roots coordinate Arabic and Turkish peoples’ culture. Leaning back to Islamic values, these nations have ancient cultures. In order to study the literature and culture of our people, we need to establish close contacts at any time, T. Karimli noted.

Later on, academician presented to the guest “Catalogue of Azerbaijan manuscripts” published by the institution and restored in Egypt's Dar al-Kutub Library.

Ahmed Sami Elaydy stressed the necessity of enhancing cooperation ties between two parties. He presented the ancient script pattern to the directory of the institution.

Noted that, Egyptian Cultural Center will be involved in agreement project developing that to be signed between Egypt's Dar al-Kutub Library and the institute with the purpose to set up new relations.
