President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan Choi Suk-Ying.

During a meeting the friendly and collaborative relations between two countries were discussed.

Told about integration of science and education, the creation of the Magistracy at ANAS on scientific and innovative projects, academician Akif Alizadeh stressed the need for the development of relations between the two countries in these areas. Head of ANAS also invited the Ambassador of the Korea Republic to anniversary events which will be held in November, 2015.

Thanked the president of ANAS ambassador gave information on achievements of the Korea Republic in the field of science and education. The ambassador also told about participation of the Korean scientists in archaeological researches in Gabala which are financed by the Azerbaijani-Korean association of a cultural exchange SEBA (Seoul-Baku).

At the meeting the exchange of opinions concerning development of cooperation between two countries, and also carrying out joint scientific researches and creation of “Park of the Azerbaijani-Korean friendship” took place.

Also the decision on signing of agreement between two parties, which implies a new stage of cooperation was taken.

Within meeting by ANAS Institute of literature the videoconference was organized. In summary, the question of creation of the center for the purpose of studying of the Azerbaijani-South Korean literary relations and the organization of translation works was discussed.
