Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Institute of Polymer Materials has organized trainings for the library users of this scientific institution.

Trainings were conducted by department of international information exchange of scientific library of Baku State University, National Coordinator, Library and Information Consortium of Azerbaijan (ACLC) Jamila Yusifova.

At the event, held on this occasion director of Institute of polymeric materials, academician Akif Azizov emphasized the importance of continuous access to information resources by means of the Internet at the present stage of development.

A. Azizov noted that carrying out similar trainings is of great importance from the point of view of the effective organization of activity of young scientists and experts, and also participations of employees in the trainings organized by ACLC together with the international bases.

J. Yusifova gave detailed information on activity of ACLC. Library -information consortium of Azerbaijan which is the member of the International library and information consortium represents the organization which creates for users of library ample opportunities for obtaining information, publications of their articles in magazines with a high rating and protection of their rights.

Also was given report on information resources, products, services of the international scientific bases, and also the current eiFL.net projects offered by ACLC members. Participants of trainings were informed on systems of online search, databases, searches in free online sources, etc.

In summary, answers to questions were given.
