ANAS Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry held next workshop on March 3.

Event was attended by employees of the institutions of ANAS Department of Chemical Sciences, including Institutes of Physics and Radiation Problems.

Opening the workshop academician-secretary of the department, director of the institute, acad. Dilgam Taghiyev provided detailed information on Donostia International Physics Center in Spain. Center links joint researches of tens of the world’s research laboratories in solid state physics, was stated.

Making speech on ties between ANAS Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry and Donostia International Physics Center acad. D. Taghiyev stated that, the purpose of the invitation of professor of the center Evgeny Chulkov to Baku is to strengthen further development of scientific collaboration in the field of inorganic materialism.

Later on, prof. Evgeny Chulkov delivered lecture on “Topological isolators and electronic structure and magnetic effects of Bychkov-Rashba systems”.

Exchange of views was carried out on the lecture, questions responded.
