Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS President, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev planted an oriental plane tree in the Central Botanical Garden on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Irada Huseynova, Head of the Secretariat of the President of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences Eldar Amirov, heads of structures of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences, as well as heads of departments of the Presidium staff took part in the action on planting trees in the sycamore garden, built on behalf of Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev in the Central Botanical Garden.

The President of ANAS, Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev also got acquainted with the work on the reconstruction and improvement of the Garden. General director of the Central Botanical Garden Natig Allahverdiyev informed the Academy's management about the improvement and reconstruction works at the research institution.

Then the President of ANAS met with employees of research institutions of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences. The Head of the Academy spoke about the reforms carried out in ANAS in all spheres.

The employees participating in the meeting highly appreciated the reform work carried out under the leadership of Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev and expressed gratitude to the leadership of ANAS.
