Delegation of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) visited the Institute of Physics of ANAS.
The aim of the event was to meet with young professionals and to select among those that will be sent to a long-term mission to JINR for joint research.
Director of the Institute of Physics, correspondent member of ANAS, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to JINR Nazim Mammadov said that the masters who entered to the master studies this year in July and August will hold a practice at the Institutes of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Geology and Geophysics, Molecular biology and Biotechnology of ANAS, as well as Baku branch of Moscow State University, JINR Center of Institute teaching and scientific practice.
Further, scientific secretary of the JINR Nikolai Rusakovich told about the areas of activity of the institute.
It was noted that JINR is located in the Russian city of Dubna. 18 countries are active members of the JINR, which also includes Azerbaijan.
In the event were delivered reports on the activities of JINR.
Finally, reported candidates to be sent to a long-term mission to the JINR and generalization of done work by expert and working group of Azerbaijan and Russia.
