The event, chaired by the Director General of the Institute of Economics, i.e.d., Professor Nazim Imanov, was attended by employees of the Training Center of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy and a number of higher education institutions.

Fariz Ismayilzadeh, Vice-Rector of ADA University, Director of the newly established Institute of Diplomacy and Development at the University, delivered a speech entitled "Institute of Diplomacy and Development: Current Political Research and Opportunities for Cooperation". Giving information about the projects implemented by ADA University together with the Institute of Economics, the speaker said that the project "Development of proposals for forecasting and effective organization of repatriation to post-conflict areas of Azerbaijan" was successfully completed under the leadership of Professor Nazim Imanov. 4 books have been published for use.  There are good opportunities for the implementation of new joint projects, and the parties intend to expand cooperation in this area.

Speaking about the newly established Institute of Diplomacy and Development, Fariz Ismayilzadeh spoke about the international experience in establishing world-class universities, the resources required for this and the existing opportunities in our country.  He noted that the main activities of the new institute include trainings (for the public and private sectors), international grants and projects, conferences and symposiums, publication of scientific and practical journals, research, analysis, publication of analytical articles. At present, analyzes and assessments are being carried out on important events in the world, and discussions are being held with foreign experts on various topical issues.

Ismayilzadeh stressed that the main goal of the Institute of Diplomacy and Development at ADA University is to be close to politics and the daily decision-making process, to contribute to it, to conduct interdisciplinary research, to establish international cooperation, to independently review processes, to conduct analytical analysis.  is to establish a close dialogue with the real business sector.

Then the seminar focused on political and economic processes in the region, the Ukrainian-Russian war and its international consequences, the impact of these processes on Azerbaijan, Russia-Azerbaijan, Ukraine-Azerbaijan relations, the actualization of food security, issues related to the restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh, the Institute of Economics. And the Institute of Diplomacy and Development of ADA University discussed the possibility of cooperation and implementation of joint projects.

Corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Akif Musayev, Head of the Training Center of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy Mirali Kazimov, Professor Isa Aliyev and others also spoke at the event and expressed their views on these issues.
