ANAS Institute of Linguistics held “round table” dedicated to completion of two week trainings organized for TV broadcasters on June 1.

In the event, director of the scientific venture, academician Tofig Hajiyev made speech on tasks laid before Institute of Linguistics in execution of “State Program on the usage of Azerbaijan language in the globalization met with modern demands and development of linguistics in the country” and done fulfillments.

First of all, TV is the information source. Informative, esthetic and ideological features of the languages manifest in mass media even more. That’s why broadcasters should improve themselves. Implementing of the trainings was a need from this point of view. These trainings also serve strengthening the links between mass media and the institute.

Other reporters also noted that, explanation of literary norms, standards of oral and written speech, accent, expressive reading and other subjects were carried out in the trainings. Two week trainings were attended by broadcasters of ATV, ITV, Khazar, Region TV, ANS, Lider and Space TV channels. Scientists of the Institute of Linguistics delivered lectures to them in various topics.

In closing, attendees were given certificates.
