Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Central Scientific Library held the meeting with a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), director of the Institute for Sustainable Development at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, head of laboratory of postnatal ontogenesis of the Institute of Developmental Biology, Vladimir Zakharov who arrived in our country by the invitation of director of the Institute of Physiology, doctor of Biological Sciences Ulduz Hashimova on June 2.

During the meeting were discussed the prospects of cooperation between two institutes. Speaking about the importance of collaboration, U.Hashimova spoke about the importance of conservation and control parameters of vital body functions of the organism.

In the event organized by the Institute of Physiology, report on "Homeostasis development: environmental and social aspects" was listened.

The report submitted to a new look at the interconnections between individual development and population development.

Professor speaking about ecological and social aspects of a homeostasis of development noted that, the general activity of organism, residence, food type, nature of displacement can change at various stages of ontogenesis.

It was noted that, stability and relative freedom of population depends on preservation the properties of adaptation against changeable living conditions, its structure and internal properties.

The scientist also noted that preservation of dynamic balance with environment proceeds from the principle of a homeostasis of population as the whole biological system.

The event was attended by members of the ANAS Institute of Physiology and Institute of Botany.
