Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Attendees of the international symposium co-organized by Turkey's Pamukkale University, Belarusian State University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakhstan Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology, Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian State Agrarian University titled as “Biodiversity in Eurasia”, visited the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies.

Guests got familiar with material-technical base of the labs operating at the institute, research works, library, published academic editions and other infrastructures.

Director of the aforementioned institute acad. Irada Huseynova stated that, this scientific venture has been established attached to Department of fundamental problems of biological productivity led by acad. Jalal Aliyev. Making speech on research carried out here in the sphere of photosynthesis and photorespiration, director of the institute informed on the modern directions of Biology science since in 70s years by acad. Jalal Aliyev, as well as brought to mind the obtained achievements. Collaboration opportunities have been discussed in the meeting as well.
