Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

At the electronic assembly hall of ANAS Institute of Literature held the scientific conference on "Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh as a phenomenon of literature and culture of Azerbaijan" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national poet, literary critic and public figure, academician Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh, on June 10.

Along with the staff of this scientific institution, conference also was attended by representatives of the Institute of Linguistics, Architecture and Art.

The event was opened by the vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbeyli who gave information about the life and creativy of B.Vahabzadeh and his invaluable contribution to the development of Azerbaijani literature of the XX centure.

It was noted that by the Decree of the President Ilham Aliyev deted from January 14, 2015 "On celebrating the 90th anniversary of national poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh, contributed to the development of national literary thought" is a prime example of high evaluation of creative literary and public figure.

Further Professor Shirindil Alishanli spoke on "Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh literature as a phenomenon of the XX century." In the report noted that the national poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh has an important place among the luminaries of world poetry of the XX century.

At the event also were listened the reports of Professors Sevil Mehdiyeva on "Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh- poet of independence", Doctor of Philology Sara Osmanli on "Literary and aesthetic views of Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh", Doctor of philology Alizadeh Askerli on "Determining the size and poetic genre in the poetry of Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh" and PhD in Art Malahat Agayeva on "Incarnation of Bakhtiar Vahabzade’ stage plays".
