Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Presidium of ANAS held the next session of Department Biological and Medical sciences on May 10.

Opening the event, academician-secretary of the department, academician Ahliman Amiraslanov spoke about the importance of the first European games "Baku-2015", which will first held in our country.

Academician noted that, in accordance with the execution of the "Spectator" program in the first European games will also be attended by employees of scientific institutions of DBMS.

At the event were discussed new areas of DBMS, were identified 2 areas on biology and 3 on medicine.

At the meeting also was discussed the plan of reception PhD and doctoral students training for 2015, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Institute of Zoology and the new staff of the Scientific Council of the institute, a new scientific structure of the Institute of Physiology, celebration of the 75th anniversary of the correspondent member of ANAS Namig Aliyev, elections in scientific communities of the republic and other issues.

Then, some staff problems were sheduled.
