Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Institute of Physiology of ANAS held meeting with David Itier, coordinator of the French Pasteur Institute for European countries.

The event was organized at the initiative of the director of the institute, Dr. Biology Ulduz Hashimova due to familiarize employees of this scientific venture with research and innovation program under IncoNet - network of international cooperation with the countries of the "Eastern Partnership" on the EU framework program "Horizon 2020".

During the meeting D.Itier gave detailed information about application forms for grants of the European Commission, project requirements, research fields, etc. It was noted that the issue of aging and longevity, which are the circle of interest by the Institute of Physiology, occupy a special place in the "Horizon 2020" Framework Programme.

In conclusion, numerous questions of the institute staff were responded.
