Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The first World Science Conference Israel (WSCI) is held in Jerusalem from August 15 till 21, 2015.

At the event the students and scientists from more than 70 countries (Albania, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Korea, Vietnam, Denmark, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, USA, Italy, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Israel, Czech Republic, France, Belgium, Great Britain, Greece, India, Pakistan, etc.) attend the conference.

At the conference Azerbaijan are represented by Head of the International Relations Department of ANAS Administration of Presidium, Doctor of Geological-mineralogical sciences Gulam Babayev (as head of the delegation from Azerbaijan), students of Baku State University, employees of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics Elvin Babayev and the Institute of Radiation Problems Nijat Nabiyev.

The event proceeds by lectures of esteemed Nobel laureates and speeches of Government officials of Israel with various plenary sessions

Within conference, Head of the International Relations Department of ANAS Administration of Presidium, Doctor of Geological-mineralogical sciences Gulam Babayev held the meetings with heads of delegation from Albania, Brazil, India, Turkey, Czech Republic, other European countries and students.

During the meetings were discussed opportunities of education abroad for ANAS master’s and doctoral students, scientific relations and identifying new directions in the future.
