Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The VII International Conference on "Mathematical analysis, differential equations and their applications", which is a joint project of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Ukraine began its work on September 9.

At the international conference organized by ANAS Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy, Mersin University (Turkey), Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University and Yu. A. Mitropolskiy International Mathematical Center of Ukraine attended by well-known scientists from 24 countries including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Russia, France, Germany, Israel, India, Great Britain, Iran and other countries.

Opening the event co-chairman of Madea-7, Professor of Mersin University Fakhraddin Abdullayev spoke about the purpose and significance of the conference.

It was noted that, within the framework of the international event, which is attended by about 150 scientists, will be discussed such fields of mathematical science as applied analysis, approximation theory, extreme problem, functional analysis, functional differential and stochastic equations, harmonic analysis, integral changes qualitative and asymptotic methods in the theory of differential equations, partial differential equations, and others.

Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev spoke about the important role of science in the modern world, as well as the action taken in connection with the development of this sphere in Azerbaijan.

Then at the action Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the National Aviation Academy, Professor Adalat Samadov, Director of ANAS Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Professor Misir Mardanov, Director of the Institute of Mathematics of Ukraine NAS, Academician Anatoly Samoilenko, Professor of Istanbul University of Commerce Akram Savash, others acted and expressed confidence that conference will make a significant contribution to mathematical science, and wished success to the conference.

The conference continued its work in sections. At the session following papers were presented on various topics, discussions were held.

Note that, the international event will come to the end on 13 September.
