Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

It is known that, since last year by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, comprehensive measures and particular works were implemented on the organization of the master studies in the Academy. In February of this year, ANAS was first announced admission to the magistracy in 7 specialties, a total of 19 people enrolled in the magistracy.

Today is the first day of the new school year for students who enrolled in master studies of ANAS. Conducting the event on this occasion President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh spoke about the historical significance of the meeting. It was reported that with the support of President Ilham Aliyev master studies has been successfully achieved in ANAS. He noted that the difference between the students who will be trained in a magistracy of the Academy, on the other lies in the fact that here the students after receiving a bachelor's degree will be able to do an internship in the laboratory. ANAS President also brought to the fore the importance of organizing the master's degree of education in all institutions of ANAS in the coming years.

Stressing 70-year history of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences which has passed a long and glorious path of development Academician Akif Alizadeh addressed to the students and said that they will lay the foundation of a bright future of the Academy. Graduate students after graduation will have all opportunities to continue the scientific activity in ANAS, research and their integration into the international scientific space, was noted.

Undergraduates will receive an education in computer science and English language at the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS so, appropriate measures and preparatory process in connection with training are carried out in the institute, noted head of ANAS.

In conclusion Academician A. Alizadeh handed student cards and computers to young undergraduates of Academy, and wished them successes in their future activities.
