Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev met with delegation of "Volkswagen" Foundation General Secretary chaired by Wilhelm Krull.

In a meeting, Acad. Ibrahim Guliyev spoke about measures related to 70th anniversary of ANAS, activity of institute and organizations of ANAS, researches carried out over scientific directions, including high level of care and attention to the development of modern spheres, multidisciplinary researches and training for young scientists by the government.

Acad. I.Guliyev brought to mind that, ANAS has set up efficient ties via the hugest and celebrate scientific centers of the world as well.

Wilhelm Krull, "Volkswagen" Foundation General Secretary, provided information on the history and performance of the Foundation, its cooperation relations and prospects. Foundation is keen on financing the projects to be realized in Middle Asia and Caucasus, especially in Azerbaijan. In addition, it is willing to finance joint projects in order to create a necessary infrastructure in Azerbaijan for activity and innovative research of students, who studied their M.A and PhD education in Germany, he stated.

In closing, guests were donated memorial gifts.
