“Nuhchikhandan-Nakhchivana” book by Vice-President of ANAS, Acad. Isa Habibbayli was published in the “Elm ve tehsil” publishing-house. Book compiles researches about one of the ancient scientific educational and cultural centers of Azerbaijan - Nakhchivan, its ancient historical development, modern progress, scientific-literary scope, life and activity of notable personalities.

“In the light of statehood” chapter of the book elucidates the policy of salvation which has begun from Nakhchivan by national leader Heydar Aliyev. Paper titled as “Necessity of liberation and Heydar Aliyev’s great salvation mission” discloses a wide presentation of historic movement in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) by national leader  as a liberator. Meanwhile, paper conducts about reconstruction and innovation processes that had realized by Chairman of Supreme Assembly of NAR Vasif Talibov pursuant to Program on the development of regions in the republic by President Ilham Aliyev.

Chapters of “Nuhchikhan-Nuhdaban” and “Nakhchivan in the history of Azerbaijan” deal with initial urban culture in Nakchivan which is 5000 years old, its rich historical and cultural heritage as a result of archaeological research, etymology etc. “Gemigaya dunyasi: Civilization processes and Nakhchivan”, “Nakhchivan duzdagi: history and modernity” papers for the first time clarify serious scientific issues related to the World storm and Noah prophet.

“Cure for ignorance: enlightenment” chapter presents multi branched rich archive materials and rare documents about one of the prominent leaders of enlightenment in Azerbaijan at the end of XIX century - beginning of XX century – Jalil Mammadguluzadeh and his contemporaries – Muhammad Taghi Sidgi, Eyneli bey Sultanov, Mirze Jalil Shurbi, Mirze Abulgasim Sultanov, Mammadgulubey Kangarli, Pasha aga Sultanov, Khalil Sadigov, Alakbar Mammadkhanov, Taghi bey Safiyev, Alimammad Khalilov, Mammad bey Gaziyev and others.

"The great strength: Culture" chapter sheds light on Nakhchivan school of Azerbaijan theatre and celebrities of Fine Art who are brought up by Nakhchivan. “Koroglu opera on the Nakhchivan stage” paper proves the high development of culture in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

“Land of legends” chapter could familiar you with folklore researches and folklore patterns of Nakhchivan by Isa Habibbayli. “Basatin Tepegozu oldurduyu boy” paper gives detailed information on Dede Gorgud toponyms in Nakhchivan.

“Poetry and song” chapter embraces poems and songs devoted to Nakhchivan.

“Nuhchikhandan-Nakhchivana” book is a scientific and literary chronicle about Nakhchivan which is an integral part of Azerbaijan.

PhD in philology Agahuseyn Shukurov’s paper titled as “Some words about Academician Isa Habibbayli, or theses of a great life” is a “Review” to a manifold scientific activity of the prominent scientist and organizer of a science.
