Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) Academician Viktor Matveyev who visited to Azerbaijan in connection with the 70th anniversary of ANAS, has been at ANAS Institute of Physics. First Viktor Matveyev met with the Director of the Institute, corresponding member of Nazim Mammadov. The meeting attended by Deputy Director for Science of the Institute, Academician Javad Abdinov, Deputy Director on innovation and transfer, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical sciences Ayaz Bayramov, correspondent members of ANAS Ovsat Abdinov, Anvar Nahmadov and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Oktay Gasimov.

V.Matveyev noted that the main goal of the meeting is to review the scientific researchers conducted at the institute, and the conditions created for the work of scientists.

He told about need of implementation of joint projects of the Institute of Physics with JINR and emphasized importance of expanding ties of cooperation in future.

Next V.Matveyev was acquainted by modern devices, created by the logistical base, scientific activity of scientists of the Sector for Innovation of Institute and with the exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary.
