Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A round table dedicated to the 101st anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev themed “Independence strategy of Heydar Aliyev and development perspectives of sovereign Azerbaijan” was held in the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS.

Isa Habibbeyli, academician, president of ANAS, the chairman of the Yasamal regional branch of the New Azerbaijan Party Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, Huseyn Huseynov, docent, director of Central Scientific Library of ANAS, PhD of technical sciences, Sanan Hasanov, Chairman of the Free Trade Union of ANAS, PhD in political sciences participated at the meeting.

Isa Habibbeyli, president of ANAS opened the event with his speech underlining that state establishment of modern independent Azerbaijan, the economic recovery and the whole historical period covering the progress in socio-political and social life is closely linked to National Leader Heydar Aliyev. 

Highlighting the historical services of National Leader for Azerbaijan, the academician said that the distinguished political figure had lots of incomparable services for the future independence of Azerbaijan away back in the Soviet period.

“The National Leader was the salvation of Azerbaijan nation during the independency years and founder of sovereign statehood institutions and formed strong state policy”–said the academician.

Isa Habibbeyli, the academician underscored that today Azerbaijan is one of the leader countries of the world and name of President Ilham Aliyev is among the world leaders. He mentioned that the scientists of ANAS are always with Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief and will do their best for further prosperity of the state.

The academician also said that the scientists of ANAS systematically research the path of the National Leader and publish more than 50 fundamental monographs within a “Year of Heydar Aliyev”.

Chairman of the Yasamal regional branch of the New Azerbaijan Party Bakhtiyar Nabiyev also made a speech at the event informing the participants about the life and the rich heritage of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

The scientists of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences also made speeches about the state policy and political heritage of Heydar Aliyev, his ideas, new national idea initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, new mission in national idea conception of Supreme Commander-in-Chief and ideological aspects of political heritage of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
