ANAS Institute of Literature named after Nizami held event on the occasion of national poet Mammad Araz’s 80th jubilee.

Opening the event, vice-president of ANAS acting director of the institute acad. Isa Habibbayli paid to the attention realizing of the chain of meetings devoted to poet’s jubilee in the country in accordance of the Order of AR President Ilham Aliyev.

National leader Heydar Aliyev higly appreciated national poet Mammad Araz’s performance, and mostly of poet’s awards were given by the leader’s signature, noted academician.

Delivering a lecture on creativity of M. Araz, Dr. Philology Vagif Yusifli highlighted the features of poet's creative style. Reporting in the event, PhD in philology Yashar Gasimbeyli and Nizami Muradoglu dealt with connectedness between folklore and poet’s works.

Finally, MP writer Agil Abbas who spoke on behalf family members of M. Araz expressed his gratitude to the directory of ANAS Institute of Literature for care and attention.
