An international scientific conference called “Prospects of Azerbaijan-Turkey Research in the Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS, with the participation of Turkish and Russian scientists.

The president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli delivered an opening speech, highlighting TÜBİTAK’s significant role in advancing science within the Turkic world, especially in Turkey, and on a global scale. He also mentioned that cooperation between our institutions had been expanded into new fields.

An academician Isa Habibbeyli noted that the essential steps had been taken recently at the academy to enhance the network of electronic services, including the establishment of the "Electronic Academy" department at ANAS. He said that TÜBİTAK's experience had been used in this field and joint electronic projects had been implemented.

It has become essential. We can say that, artificial intelligence impacts all fields in some way. Everything is evolving and modernizing, and as scientists, we also use AI to advance our work."

The professor stressed that scientists, especially philosophers, should study AI thoroughly and share their findings. This will help people use AI effectively and handle any problems that arise. He emphasized the importance of conducting these tasks in a systematic way.

Professor Ilham Mammadzade emphasized their deep interest in artificial intelligence, how it relates to consciousness and thinking and exploration of the distinctions between human intelligence and artificial intelligence.

The conference included scientific presentations on subjects like “Artificial Intelligence and Gender”, “Competition between Humans and Artificial Intelligence in the Modern World”, Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence in the Perspective of Concern and Risk: The Case of Azerbaijan and Turkey etc.
