Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

At the Educational complex # 132-134 by the joint organization of the educational institutions and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences was held the event within the project "Scientists of tomorrow" in Baku on January 14.

The event was opened by Director of the educational complex, Honored teacher Sara Khanlarova who stressed that, President Ilham Aliyev always pays special attention to the development of science and education, also signed the a large number of decrees and orders in this sphere.

Reminded the words of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev "Education is the future of the nation" and state head Ilham Aliyev "To turn black gold into human capital", the Director spoke about the activities and achievements in the educational institution led by her.

She noted that, in "The National Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan" was set an important task - to increase young people's interest in science: "In accordance with the strategy in our educational institutions were created opportunities for the development of talented students."Minor Academy", organized by the Educational Complex to identify students who have creative thinking and ability to conduct research gave good results.

S.Khanlarova also added that currently, in the Educational complex, which history of existence totals 155 years, are taught 5 foreign languages.

Then students of the 9, 10 and 11 classes of a complex submitted their projects on the topics "Carbon Nanotubes", "Healthy Life", "Usage of the Electronic Equipment", "Ozone-depleting Substances and Environmentally Friendly Alternatives", "Polemic with Scientists".

Participated at the event, Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Fakhraddin Gadirov, Vagif Abbasov, corresponding member of ANAS Nazim Mammadov and others announced their thoughts and suggestions in connection with the project.

At the end, the students of educational complex performed with a concert program.
