Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On January 25, students of the high school N 295 in Nardaran settlement of Sabunchu district familiarized with the exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). The event was realized with the joint organizational support of ANAS and Knowledge Fund under the President of Azerbaijan Republic.

The exhibition organized in the main building of ANAS, students were informed in detail about the structure, history, activities, scientific institutions and organizations of the Academy. They were provided with information about the books, booklets and valuable books in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages, reflecting the progress made by the Academy, obtained over many years of research results, including the activities of institutions and organizations. Students are also familiarized with the innovations and successes achieved in academic institutions and organizations.

At the event, Executive Director of Knowledge Fund Ogtay Samadov said that the students of secondary school N 295 were first acquainted with the exhibition reflecting scientific achievements of ANAS. It was noted that such events - one of the important steps taken towards popularizing science and enhance the students' knowledge.

Executive Director of the Fund stressed the importance of expanding cooperation between young scientists of ANAS and schools in Nardaran, and as a continuation of these relations master classes in schools in Nardaran in the future.

History teacher of secondary school N 295 Dilgusha Fataliyeva, stressing the importance of measures to increase the interest of young generations in science, improving their outlook and the development of scientific relations between schools and academic institutions, expressed gratitude to the organizers.

The exhibits demonstrated at the corner set aside for institutions and organizations of seven scientific departments of ANAS, regional research centers, including the Presidium, aroused great interest of students.
