Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Presidium of ANAS hosted an event dedicated to the discussion of the doctoral thesis for PhD training program at the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Technical Sciences (DPMTS) and the Department of Chemical Sciences (DCS).

At the event was an exchange of views about the doctoral theses, offers were recommended.

President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh acquainted with the theme of each doctoral thesis and noted that, thesis theme researches must comply with the basic tasks and requirements of modern science, emphasized need of carrying out the researches capable to have significant impact on acceleration of scientific and technical progress.

Director of ANAS also added that, scientific research and research of every post-graduate must have an important socio-cultural and economic importance.

Academician recommended to scientific departments of ANAS to pay great attention to the choice of the thesis works that they will be able promote the development of relevant scientific fields.

At the event also told about need of scientific business trip of doctoral students on practice in authoritative scientific centers and institutes of the world.
