Next meeting of ANAS Presidium held on 4 February. Academician-Secretary of ANAS, Academician Rasim Alguliyev gave information about activities of the Wiki-Center established at the Institute of Information Technologies in the 2014-2015.

Academician noted that, in order to attract institutions and organizations, research centers, scientists and specialists of ANAS to active participate in this project, Presidium took the decision on January 15, 2014.

In order to organize the activity in this sphere the relevant instructions were given to the Institute of Information Technology.

Academician-Secretary added that, guided by this Decision at the Wiki-Center carries out important event for the promotion of "Wikipedia" among the citizens of the republic and to involve them in the implementation of the corresponding activities of Azerbaijan's interests in the "Wikipedia".

Also by the Center are realized measures for early detection and prevention of actual and potential sources of danger against our country.

In conclusion, according to the decision of ANAS Presidium was approved the report on the activities of the Centre Wiki in 2014-2015.

Institute of Information Technology was charged with instructions of continuation the works in the direction of the organization of trainings of Wiki-groups in Wiki-Center, as well as monitoring of contents connected with Azerbaijan in Wiki environment.
