Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Institute of Botany named after M.G.Kholodnova, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), president of the Ukrainian Botanical Society, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Sergei Mosyakin visited the Institute of Botany of ANAS.

Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Valida Alizadeh gave detailed information about the research areas led by its institution, its international relations, ongoing projects here and work on reconstruction.

Professor S.Mosyakin acquainted with modern facilities equipped laboratories of the Institute, the Botanical Museum and Herbarium. Guest interested in modern works in the collection and preparation of herbarium specimens belonging to foreign and domestic flora stored in the herbarium, storage conditions and the inclusion of the European knowledge base.

Describing the Institute of Botany of UNAS headed by, S.Mosyakin noted the importance of mutual exchange of experience, joint research on pollen morphology and staff training.

The meeting also agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation.
