In the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Information Technology sector chief, Kamala Hashimova has presented an action plan of Multimedia Gallery for 2016. She informed about Multimedia Gallery activities, information provision, organization of management and structure, formation of material-technical base, staffing and deployment affairs to the Data Center of AzScienceNet computer network.

Creation and operation of database of the Multimedia Gallery intends photo and video materials to be included in the database, preparation of forms for the search in database and carry out design work on photographic materials.

Sector chief spoke on the work to be done in inclusion of materials conducted by official www.science.az portal of ANAS, Elm TV and www.ict.az, including archives, video, audio and photographic materials of the institution and organizations of ANAS to be included in the database of Multimedia Gallery.

She noted that, the provision of Multimedia Gallery via computers, having technical performance, its supply via equipment of large memory capacity and high-quality facilities are among the planned activities for the current year.

Later on, Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the institute, Academician Rasim Alguliyev made speech on great importance of the Multimedia Gallery, embracing multimedia resources of audio, video and photo content, which cover varied directions of scientific-organizing activity of ANAS. He also give information about the strengthen normative-legal base, regulating the activity of the gallery, meet with international standards, application of innovative technologies, reliable storage of the data posted here and increasing of human resources.
