Institute of Geology and Geophysics discussed the state of gas-condensate fields operating in depletion mode

The regular meeting of Academic Council of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics held on March 11.

Opening the event, Deputy Director for Science, Doctor of Geology and Mineralogy Sciences Dadash Huseynov presented the issues on the agenda.

Then was delivered the report Head of the Department of Technology Oil - Gas, corresponding member of ANAS Zokhak Abbasov on "Difficulties in the last stage of development of gas condensate fields, working in the depletion mode, and ways to overcome them," and Deputy Head of the Modeling of the database on co-developed deposits of Institute «Neftgazelmitedgigatlayihe" SOCAR, PhD in Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor Natig Hamidov.

At the event held discussions related to the progress of the grant projects. Detailed information was presented about the project "Intensification of process of separation of oil from the sludge, the establishment of technological regime", "Creating and software innovation of complex engineering and technological methods of mining, reserves of which are difficult to extract" "Study of the nature of radon activity in Shamakhi-Ismayilli and Sheki-Zagatala regions, where there is a high concentration of radon, radon assessment of effects on human health and the development of measures to address the consequences".

During the event was held discussion on making partial changes in the structure of the Institute, personnel and other issues.
