Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the People Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abbes Benmoussat visited the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS.

Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanities of ANAS, Director of the Institute Academician Teymur Karimli and board members of this scientific institution provided detailed information about the history of the Institute of Manuscripts, stored unique funds and the specificity of conducted research works. Mr. Abbes Benmoussat stressed that, the experience of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS is a priority for the effective organization of the Institute of Manuscripts, which will be established in Algeria on the basis of the Algerian National Library, and brought to the fore the importance of mutual cooperation in the field of digitalization of manuscripts.

Academician Teymur Karimli underlined the interest in further cooperation in this field and stressed the necessity of signing a bilateral agreement for the organization of the work in this direction.
